Apple’s Smart Home Innovations: Face ID Doorbells and Health-Tracking AirPods

The doorbell will connect wirelessly to the HomeKit ecosystem, allowing users to unlock doors using facial recognition after registering their face data. Apple is involved in the development of the Matter protocol to ensure compatibility with devices from Amazon and Google. Additionally, Apple aims to integrate hardware and software for a seamless user experience through Apple Intelligence.

Apple is also enhancing AirPods with health-monitoring capabilities, focusing on heart rate tracking. This feature is likely to be included in the next generation of AirPods Pro. The company is also exploring integrating cameras into AirPods to support AI applications.
