Nvidia (NVDA) Resumes Sales of H20 AI Chips to China

Nvidia (NVDA, Financial) CEO Jensen Huang emphasized the significance of the Chinese market, calling it vibrant and crucial for American companies. He highlighted China’s rapid development in AI, noting that currently, 50% of the world’s AI researchers are in China. Huang recently met with former U.S. President Trump, who was aware of Huang’s trip to China and wished him well.

Nvidia has announced plans to resume sales of its H20 AI chips to China, following approval from the U.S. government. The H20 chip was developed specifically to comply with U.S. export regulations for the Chinese market. Sales were halted since April due to export restrictions imposed by the U.S. government.
