  • LeddarTech Holdings Inc. (LDTC, Financial) announces bankruptcy filing under Canadian Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
  • Failure to find an acquirer or secure capital leads to halt in operations.
  • NASDAQ trading expected to be halted and eventual delisting anticipated.

LeddarTech Holdings Inc. (LDTC), a company specializing in AI-powered software for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving, has announced its intention to file for bankruptcy under Canada’s Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. This decision comes after an unsuccessful strategic review aimed at finding a buyer, securing a commercial partnership, or raising sufficient capital.

The company’s announcement follows its receipt of a default notice under its bridge financing agreement. Consequently, LeddarTech has appointed Raymond Chabot Inc. as the licensed insolvency trustee to oversee the proceedings. All members of the board of directors are set to resign following the bankruptcy filing.

Investors have been warned that security holders are likely to receive little to no value from the bankruptcy proceedings. As part of this process, trading of LeddarTech’s shares and warrants on the NASDAQ is expected to be halted, with an eventual delisting anticipated. The company’s operations are not expected to resume, indicating a complete shutdown rather than a reorganization.
