Meta Platforms Shifts MR Headset Development to Focus on Software

By deepening this collaboration, Meta aims to reduce its hardware development burden and focus on building and optimizing its software ecosystem. A Meta spokesperson confirmed the increased collaboration with Goertek, emphasizing that Meta will continue to lead and participate in the headset design process to ensure high standards in user experience and technological innovation.
