Microsoft (MSFT, Financial) announced that after October 14, 2025, it will no longer provide free software updates, technical support, or security fixes for Windows 10 through Windows Update. While users’ computers will continue to function, Microsoft is recommending an upgrade to Windows 11.

Additionally, from the same date, Windows 10 will no longer support Microsoft 365 applications, as it will not meet the system requirements for these applications.
