Foxconn to Unveil Electric Vehicle Strategy in Japan

Foxconn is set to host a seminar in Japan to outline its electric vehicle (EV) strategy. The event aims to enhance understanding among automakers and suppliers about Foxconn’s plans in the EV sector. Jun Seki, Foxconn’s Chief EV Strategy Officer and former Nissan executive, is expected to speak at the seminar. Seki joined Foxconn in 2023, bringing extensive experience from the automotive industry.

Foxconn’s strategic move aligns with its recent agreement to produce electric vehicles for Mitsubishi, targeting the Oceania market, including Australia. This initiative marks a significant step in Foxconn’s expansion into the EV market, leveraging its manufacturing expertise to tap into the growing demand for electric vehicles.
