U.S. Stocks Wobble, Bond Yields Climb After Fed Rate Increase

U.S. stocks edged lower in the aftermath of the Federal Reserve’s latest interest-rate increase and other central banks’ adjustments to their own policies. 

The S&P 500 dropped 0.5% in Thursday morning trading, after futures earlier swung between gains and losses. The broad-market index closed down 1.7% on Wednesday following a turbulent day’s trading. The Nasdaq Composite declined 0.9%, suggesting pressure on technology stocks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.4%.
