FTI Consulting, Inc. (FCN), a global consulting firm, has announced a significant expansion of its Financial Services practice. This strategic move involves the appointment of seven senior professionals to the Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment, with positions based in the United States and Germany. These new hires include Senior Managing Directors Alma Angotti and Michael Peters, along with Managing Directors Steven Hansen, Laura Huntley, Wolfgang Konkel, Creighton Oswald, and Syed Raza.

Alma Angotti, who is based in Washington, D.C., brings over 30 years of expertise in financial crime compliance, regulatory enforcement, and economic sanctions. Her notable career includes roles at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network. She will now advise clients on compliance risk, regulatory investigations, and enforcement preparedness for FTI Consulting.

Michael Peters, based in Frankfurt, will lead the Financial Crime Compliance practice in Germany. With more than 35 years of experience, he is recognized as an expert in crime prevention and has previously served as a criminal investigator with the Federal Criminal Police Office in Germany. Peters will guide clients on financial crime prevention and compliance strategies.
