Brazil Potash Announces Participation in Upcoming Investor Conferences and Going Concern …

  • Brazil Potash (GRO, Financial) will attend major investor conferences in May and June 2025.
  • Independent auditor issued a going concern qualification for Brazil Potash for FY 2024.
  • Brazil Potash focuses on the Autazes Project to bolster Brazil’s domestic potash supply.

Brazil Potash Corp. (GRO), a company specializing in mineral exploration and development, particularly in potash mining, has announced its participation in several upcoming investor conferences in May and June 2025. These conferences include the International Fertilizer Association Conference in Monaco from May 12-14, the BMO Global Farm to Market Conference in New York on May 14-15, the CG Global Metals & Mining Conference in Henderson from May 20-22, and the Wells Fargo Industrials Conference in Chicago on June 10.

In a recent disclosure, Brazil Potash reported that its independent registered public accounting firm has included a going concern qualification in their audit opinion for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024. This indicates significant uncertainty regarding the company’s ability to continue its operations. The information was filed in the company’s annual report on Form 20-F on March 28, 2025, with an amendment on April 9, 2025.

Brazil Potash is actively developing the Autazes Project, which aims to supply sustainable fertilizers to Brazil, one of the world’s largest agricultural exporters. This initiative is crucial as Brazil currently imports over 95% of its potash fertilizer needs despite having one of the largest undeveloped potash basins. The company plans to produce up to 2.4 million tons annually, potentially supplying 20% of Brazil’s current potash demand, while mitigating approximately 1.4 million tons per year of greenhouse gas emissions.
