Let’s recap this week’s latest news. Jim Cramer on Thursday said that there were three indicators during Thursday’s trading session that suggested the initial market sell-off would fizzle out. FORESIGHT CAPITAL MANAGEMENT ADVISORS, INC. Buys 1, Sells 4 in 3rd Quarter. The upward pressure that housing costs have been putting on inflation can now probably be safely ignored. If only there was nothing else going on but the rent. U.S. stocks slipped Wednesday in the wake of new inflation data and the release of the minutes of the September meeting of the Federal Reserve’s rate-setting board. The S&P 500 edged down 11.81 points, or 0.3%, to 3577.03, a nearly two-year low. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 28.34 points, or 0.1%, closing at 29210.85. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 9.09 points, or 0.1%, to 10417.10, a day after the tech-heavy index entered its second bear market of 2022, marking a drop of more than 20% from its recent high on Aug. 15.

ITCB(Itaú Corpbanca): Itaú Corpbanca provides wholesale and retail banking services to small and medium-sized enterprises, individuals, and institutional clients in Chile and Colombia. The Refining segment owns and operates three refineries that produce ultra-low sulfur diesel, gasoline, jet fuel, marine fuel, distillate, asphalt, low sulfur fuel oil, and other associated refined products primarily for consumption in Hawaii, Pacific Northwest, Wyoming, and South Dakota. The Retail segment operates 119 fuel retail outlets, which sell merchandise, such as soft drinks, prepared foods, and other sundries in Hawaii under the Hele, 76, and nomnom brands; and gasoline, diesel, and retail merchandise in Washington and Idaho under the Cenex, nomnom, and Zip Trip brand names.

NOV(NOV INC): NOV, Inc. provides equipment and technology to the upstream oil and gas industry. It operates through the following segments: Rig Technologies, Wellbore Technologies, and Completion and Production Solutions. The Rig Technologies segment monitors its capital equipment backlog to plan its business. The Wellbore Technologies segment designs, manufactures, rents, and sells a variety of equipment and technologies used to perform drilling operations and offers services that optimize their performance. The Completion and Production Solutions segment integrates technologies for well completions and oil and gas production. The company was founded in 1862 and is headquartered in Houston, TX.
