Bank of Mexico Raises 2021 Growth Forecast to 6.2%

The Bank of Mexico raised its forecast for economic growth in 2021, citing a better-than-expected performance in the second quarter and the expectation that the recovery will continue in the second half of the year.

The central bank expects gross domestic product to expand 6.2% this year from 2020, up from its previous estimate of 6%.
