Helium One Global Ltd (HLOGF) has reported the successful completion of drilling the State-9 well at the Galactica-Pegasus helium development project in Colorado. The well reached a total depth of 1,225 feet and confirmed the presence of free gas through wireline logs. A significant finding includes 60 feet of high-quality gas-saturated sands with porosity levels between 22-26% in the Upper Lyons Sandstone Formation.

During the drilling process, the well demonstrated a strong natural flow, with no water encountered, indicating potential for clean gas production. Gas samples have been collected and sent to the laboratory for analysis to determine helium and CO2 concentrations. The well is currently being prepared for surface pressure readings and flow testing, with plans for integration into production facilities upon successful testing.

Under the farm-in agreement with Blue Star Helium, Helium One will fund the first US $450,000 of the State-9 well. The project’s progress marks a significant step for Helium One Global, reinforcing its position in the helium exploration sector and potential contribution to addressing the global helium supply challenge.
